Broad-Spectrum

A sunscreen labeled 'Broad-Spectrum' has been tested to protect against both UVA and UVB radiation per FDA criteria.

Broad-Spectrum explained

FDA broad-spectrum requires a critical wavelength of ≥ 370 nm. Without that label, the product only protects against UVB sunburn, not UVA aging or DNA damage. Always pair the SPF number with 'Broad-Spectrum' on the label.
